I was probably the only blogger who had not stressed so much about the outfit selection for the Indiedays launch party, as I had mine planned already two weeks ago when I brought back this layered dress from Berlin. I was looking for something that would go well with the Rick Owens wedges I had bought just a few days before my trip, and this dress completely hit the spot: It’s layered, versatile, made of jersey and organza silk, and as “me” as a me can get. I love how you can make it a hoodie, a cape or even give it a sporty look by just gathering all the layers on the front. This won’t be the last time you’ll see this new friend of mine…

    1. You looked fabulous for 5 minute dressing-up! I always panic about dressing-up, so I was very happy that I had the whole outfit planned beforehand, especially when I was on a tight schedule having to work and take the train the same day..We totally should have talked more, how does this always happen?:D We have to catch up on the cruise next week!!

  2. If ever there was a time and place to say OMG this is it. Those boots are amazing. And, that dress? This is why in-person shopping is so much better than online shopping. It seems like I never even saw this dress at allsaintsshop.com, and I check their website almost once a week.

    1. Thank you so much!:) I didn’t notice this dress at all on the All Saints site, it was actually something I quickly grabbed in the actual store in Berlin. You’re so right though, it looks so much better in person and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. 🙂

  5. Love the dress, it’s perfect! but not sure about the boots. On the one hand i like them, they are quite extraordinary, but on the other hand the back somehow disturbs me 😀

  9. Hmm…this is why I stick to Rick basics. The boots are stunning! No doubt, and you wear them well. Its just unless you go rick all the way…it doesnt quite cut it. The dress is really nice though but would go better with those lovely Ann boots of yours! Well its just my opinion.

    1. Thanks! I’m sure the dress would look great with the Ann D’s as well but for a party like this the Rick Owens boots suited better IMO (heels are more feminine). 🙂 I was thinking about wearing the grey Rick Owens dress I have but felt that going all the way black was more chic. The All Saints dress looks a bit Rick Owenish but of course I wouldn’t mind having the real deal.. Unfortunately I didn’t find any good RO pieces whilst in Berlin, not so festive at least. 🙂

    1. Yeah, I was so happy that I found the perfect dress for the party so easily, All Saints always carries nice stuff. 🙂 But my Rick Owens boots… they are to die for!

  27. Hei Anna-Maria, olen ennenkin bongaillut sun blogista noita All Saintsin vaatteita. Olen tekemässä sinne tilausta ja listallani on aika monta vaatekappaletta. Ovatko sinun mielestäsi koot vastanneet ns. normaalikokoja? Jos vertaa esim. H&M:ään tai Filippa K:hon. Olen tilaamassa neuletakin, hupparin ja paidan.

    1. Olen ottanut niistä aina oman kokoni eli 8, joka vastaa yleensä Suomessa käyttämääni kokoa 36. Eli peruskoon vastaavus on pitänyt kyllä kutinsa (esim. tuo mekko on kokoa 8, samoin viime vuoden keväällä blogibileissä ollut harmaa tunikamekko). 🙂 Yksi kermanvärinen neuletakki mulla on koossa 12, koska ostin sen hieman harteikkaammalta työkaveriltani. Neuletakki on sellainen löysä ja valuva, ettei tuo liian iso koko haittaa siinä niin paljoa. Paidoista ja istuvimmista tuotteista valitsisin kuitenkin sen omaa kokoa vastaavan tuotteen, neuleissa voi tietty ottaa kokoa isomman, jos haluaa että on ns. oversize. All Saintsillä on kyllä kaikkea ihanaa ja postareita ei muistaakseni ole jos tilaa yli 200 punnalla. 🙂 Toivottavasti ostoksesi onnistuvat!

  30. eeeei, ei ole todellista! Nuo sun kengät ovat aivan mahtavat, owensin kengät ovat asia jonka vuoksi sydän itkee verta. Harmikseni sinun jalkasi on pienempi kuin minun, joten en voi edes varastaa noita 😉

Myös oma sydämeni itki verta melkein pari vuotta ennen kuin sain nämä beibit omakseni. 🙂 Omani ovat kokoa 37, mutta ovat aika reilut, 36 olisi ollut lähempänä normaalikokoani (joka on siis 37). Koitin Berliinissä niitä tavallisia wedgejä ja turbo-wedgejä (hankin ne vielä joku päivä, niin aaah!!!!) molemmissa koissa (taipuuko tuo noin?) ja 36 oli sopivan nafti, mutta lesti tuntui hieman liian kapelta verrattuna 37 kokoon. Olisin siis oikeasti jotakin noiden kahden väliltä. Onneksi pohjallisten kanssa nuo 37 ovat ihan perfetto. 🙂
