For the past month I’ve been keeping my eye on the local magazine stand for a special issue that is on my “must get” list each spring and fall. Today, whilst grocery shopping, the thought of my springlike treat creeped into my mind again and there it finally was: the Elle Collections spring/summer issue!
I love how all the spring/summer fashion is securely wrapped in one large package, making it easy for the eyes to look at the collections and to get inspired. Viewing these images is certainly taking the my mind off from this excessively boring and cold winter, making it like a mini vacation getaway right here in my own living room. This is a trip worth taking!

Kappas. Selasin tuota vaikuttavan paksua lehteä Suomalaisessa pari päivää sitten aikaa tappaessani. En ole ennen törmännyt tuohon ja nyt katselin ihan mielenkiinnolla. En vain tiedä, uskallanko sellaista ostaa… tulisinkohan sitten kuitenkaan sitä käyttäneeksi koko rahan edestä. Pelkät vaatekuvat eivät oikeastaan kiinnosta minua tarpeeksi, joten tärkeämpää on, onko lehdessä paljon (ja hyviä) juttuja, ja mistä kaikesta. Haluatko kertoa, onko lehti nimenomaan lukemisen arvoinen? Mitä juttuja siinä oikeastaan käsitellään? Analysoidaan hetken muotia ehkä?
Heipsan! En ole vielä ehtinyt ihan kokonaan perehtyä tähän kevään opukseen, mutta siinä on tällä kertaa aika paljonkin niitä muotiaiheisia juttuja, mm. bloggaamistakin käsitellään. Lähinnä kertovat siis kauden muodista, ilmiöistä ja ihmisistä. Elle Collections on noista muotiraamatuista se edullisin ja kertaakaan en ole vielä pettynyt sen tarjontaan. 🙂 Suosittelen!

Elle is one of my favourite magazines! I also love the layout of Elle Collection – you are able to garsp the mood of a certain look as opposed to details of one outfit.

Yeah, exactly! I also love how they pick one trend and find it from all the collections of the different designers. The only bad thing about Elle Collections is that they hardly ever feature “avant garde” designers like Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Martin Margiela etc. But I guess we have the style.com for that. 😉
Oh, I get goosebumps just reading and thinking about this issue! Lucky you, hope I can get my hands on it soon.

What an amazing looking issue! I have yet to see it in stands here, but it looks like an absolute must-have.
It’s really good, I can highly recommend it! 😉 I finally found it after a long wait and seems to be kind of hard to find but usually the big department stores seem carry it. Good luck with the magazine hunt!;)
