Anonymous commenting enabled!

I’ve been wondering why the commenting on my blog has been quite low-key ever since I moved to Indiedays, and after thinking about my own commeting habits, I realized that it might be due to the fact that my comment section requires you to fill out too much personal information. To make things hassle free here, I have now enabled the anonymous commenting, meaning you don’t have to provide any personal information anymore (not even your name, in that case the comment will be coming from “anonymous”), if you don’t want to. Naturally I would prefer people using nicknames and those of you who have a blog, I’d rather know who you are since a lot of times this is the way I visit blogs.

Let’s see how this will change things here after this, I hope it’s for the better. Discussion and comments are always welcome!

Tervetuloa keskustelemaan!

Off the beaten track

Hopefully you all have had a great Easter! I’ve been just relaxing, done some spring cleaning, and attended Laura‘s b-day party including a sit-down sushi dinner and some reckless dancing.

This kind of easy, four day weekend requires some relaxed tunes, so this week’s Off the Beaten Track is consists of the aforementioned. It’s a perfect tracklist for those lazy days when the rain is drumming on your window or the sunlight is hitting your face, and for a moment, the time stands still. The occasion is up to you. Enjoy!

Mock stock and two smoking hot legs

Blog network is truly a wonderful thing! This time I have to thank my lovely blogger colleague Sandra, who was so kind to send me a pair of these much hyped Henry Holland Mock Stock tights that have been sold out pretty much everywhere. She was lucky enough to grab a black pair from the second batch that only reached the physical Top Shop stores in the UK since online, they were gone in seconds. In my mock stock crave, I had already purchased a pair of thigh highs socks from My Tights but these all-in-one tights are so much simple to use since you don’t have to play with the garter belt at all. I’m not saying that the socks won’t get any wear due to the existence of the tights, but let’s just say I have a little bit different plans for them.

In order to make these suspender tights less vulgar, I’m planning on rocking these in the Pippi Longstocking way: Now all we need is a warm weather, a relaxed t-shirt dress, some heels and the most relaxed summer look is born.

Happy Good Friday, folks!

Winning a battle, losing the war

Some might call me crazy or stupid but what can you do when your friends are demanding you to go out on a Saturday night, despite my efforts of telling them “I got a flu guys, I don’t think I should go”.  In fact, they just offered me more French apple cider and said that “you know, apples should keep the doctor away”. Well, I didn’t get worse but I didn’t get better either. Plus minus zero situation, at least I had fun.

I notice now that Saturday’s outfit pictures are actually missing a cardigan which I kept on all night; I’m happy something was telling me to listen to the more rational side of my brain. I also thought I’d keep the jewelry minimal and use a safetypin with some chain to lock the vest in place. It looks pretty nifty, huh?

I’m really hoping to get over my sickness by Saturday because one of my favorite girls is turning 22 and I really want to be there. Plus it would be the perfect occasion to introduce my new purchases in action. Wish me well!
