Seven days a week, every minute of the day

It’s one of those serious wtf moments when you end up missing the last train home,  sleeping only four hours to take the first morning train back, going straight to work in last night’s outfit and make-up, and having your camera filled with blurry images like these. Oh yeah, and a huge letter E in your friend’s living room.

Nevertheless, the Weekday launch in Helsinki was a huge success and I had so much fun! We need more nights like these in our lives while we’re still young. Am I right or am I right?

And when the day come, it will all have been fun, we'll talk about it soon

Yesteday was an über busy day including a visit to Helsinki, and more specifically making a video interview with the aspiring fashion designer  Ewa Larsson (more about that later), crashing Star PR’s housewarming bash where the latest summer collections of Monki and Weekday were present, and finally attending the Marimekko autumn 2010 fashion show with a few of my blogger colleagues.

This whole week I’ve been fighting against an afwul spring flu to make yesterday happen, and of course today, regardless of the multiple vitamin overdozes, I’m a total bedpatient. Therefore I’ll let the pictures do the talking from now on and concentrate on getting better.

Enjoy your weekend!

Indiedays launch party

On Friday, 19 bloggers and one fashionable crowd gathered to the gallery Kalhama & Piippo to celebrate the start of the new blog media, Indiedays. Annie (<3) was spinning, the crowd was mingling, the champagne was bubbling, and afterwards we were treated with fine wining and dining, in good company of course. The late hours of the night were spent at the local rock joint, dancing into good tunes and going crazy on the dancefloor with my fellow bloggers. Oh what a night!

Glass Candy, part 2

Words can’t describe how happy I was to hear that Glass Candy, a band that I’ve once traveled across the Baltic sea to see live once, was coming to play in my little hometown, Tampere. The gig was held on last Wednesday and even though the turn out was rather low key, the show was amazing and the band energetic as ever. A special shout-out to Johnny, Ida and Desire’s Meg for taking us backstage for a night to remember. Good times!
